The Early Bird Program
What is it?
The Early Bird Program is a study and organizational skills program begun in 1998 by Mr. Kase. The program is structured so that students of Brother Rice have an opportunity to experience success at the school through incorporation of study skills taught, organizational skills reinforced, and the extra study and tutoring time afforded them in the morning.
How Much?
The program is offered at $200 per quarter.
When?
The program is held from 7:00 to 7:45 every weekday morning for the full quarter. At that time, students may decide to continue into the next quarter.
Where?
Mr. Kase’s room, C122.
What do they do?
The students keep an assignment book filled out every day enabling the instructor to verify their assignments are complete. They also participate in a study skills program that is presented and study quietly in non-instructional time.
What’s the payoff?
Better organization, preparation, study skills, grades and….oh yeah, Donuts on Fridays!!!!
